well first thank you so much for the christmas package!!!!!!!!!!!!! it was great. i am sorry but i already opened everything. haha. it went to the mission office. not the mission home. but thank you so much. i laughed so hard when i saw the hat. how did you guys do that!! that was pretty cool. so thank you thank you. it was greatly appreciated.
i did a lot of study on recognizing the spirit. and it all starts with prayer. and i found something interesting. when we pray we should ask Heavenly Father what the spirit prompts us to. i have never really thought about that. so i tried it. and it takes a lot longer for my prayers but they are so much more meaningful, i feel that if we pray this way it makes it more communication then just talking to the air. so this christmas season i want to give you all a challenge. pray with sincerity and if you do i can promise that you will see christmas the way we are supposed to. the true meaning to celebrate the greatest gift ever given as David archulete puts it in his christmas album
this week was so great. i am glad liked the picture that sister lundquest sent. they are from idaho and they are here opening a new store called ijump, but in french. they are super nice. they are going to have us over every wednesday. i dont know their address right now but i will get it for you later mom. it was super nice to have an american thanksgiving. i thought that we were going to have no food. but we did! and we got leftovers!
so monday we went to the island of montreal and we hung out with cederic. it was super fun. we went to the underground mall and walked around. then we saw the lights that they have set up for christmas. i have some pics i will send.
that is crazy that caden is already home. i remember when he left. that is so cool. i hope sister isaacson is doing ok.
so we had the branch christmas party this week. it was super. i sat next to a really old lady named sister jarry, she is hilarious. i did not stop laughing. at one point she stuck a candy cane up her nose haha. i laughed so hard. i love that lady. she lost like 100lbs once. fun fact for you.
so we had some really cool experiences. first David got the priesthood! we are so happy for him. he is on his way!! he looked so happy after he got it. what a nice young lad. well he isn't that young like 37..... oh sorry mom and dad........ haha well anyways the next was with osa. she is a less active we work with. she was planning on doing some things that would go against the commandments of God but right before she got a call from the Elders, which would be elder duran and myself. then we went to her house and talked to her for a longtime about how she can't procrastinate and how she knows it is true all that jazz. now she is not going to do bad things but good things instead! so huzzah! but it was super cool how my comp followed the spirit and we decided to call her and make sure she was ok!

but wait dad here is my word for the beehive thing.
to be a good fellowshipper. be a true friend. say more then hi on sunday but occasionally text them, be real. dont just be a face. with david our recent convert there are some in the branch who do the opposite, but the ones who have impacted him the most are the ones who ask him questions, talk with him, and work with him. people who give the recent convert a reason to come back. that is my bit for you.
