Hey there all!
Wow
this week was insane. I can't believe where it went. So transfers was
this week! I'm staying in Torcy with SOEUR HENSON!! Surprise surprise!
we are so excited. We're so sad to see our Linton go, but she'll be
going home in 4 weeks, 2 weeks after I'll kill Soeur Henson, then I'm 6
behind them. So we're known as the 3 amigos in the mish. I have never
had more unity among friends before. They will be in my life forever and
I know that all of you will ADORE them.
This week was pretty busy and we had a lot going on.
Tuesday
was pretty cool. We had a lot of rendez-vous set! And we left really
excited! but sure enough, each one of them fruged us. Slash no one was
there! so we prayed to make up for our lessons. We contacted every
single person we saw and ended up getting 3 other lessons in the street
and praying with them! It was so cool and such a testimony to me that
God will make up for it. He will always help us accomplish our goals.
The world cup is going on strong here and France beat the Netherlands
and here, everyone is really into it. Everyone gets in their car after
the match and drapes their flag and sits out their window. It was
actually really kinda fun watching. Cute little french people. Everyone
honks their horns and makes a big deal. It was kinda magical and fun to
watch. Man I love this country. I love the lifestyle and the people and
how passionate they are about everything. They LOVE their country. I
like that about them.
We ended up doing a surprise exchange in Valenciennes as well
with our favorite soeurs! It was so great going back with Soeur Williams
and being with her. We were able to all talk together and the spirit
was so strong. She is one of my heros. She is doing incredible and they
are accomplishing so much.
Friday,
the 4th of July, woot woot, we spent in Paris for a conference all day.
It was the day we got to all meet the Babins officially! It was fun
because we had met them a few days before so they had some familiar
faces at the conference. I LOVE them already and we're becoming great
friends with them. They talked about their goals for us and how they
want us to have a personal relationship with Christ. And to become
missionaries not serve missions. They showed a video of "Don't Give
Up-you are loved" by Josh Groban and just told us over and over how
loved we were. It was so beautiful. What's even crazier is that
everything they shared with us, we studied this week! God prepared us
for them. We had a fun little interview with them and I love them
already. I'm sad I only have 2 transfers with them. But so excited to
serve more with them. We have mission council this week and I can't wait
to see what they'll jump into! They are added to my hall of heros.
President served in the Salt Lake City mission. He worked in Human
Resources before. Really successful incredible man. And he has such a
huge heart. Soeur Babin is incredible; She converted at age 14 with her
sister, then served her mission here in our mission! Her sister and her
served in the same mission and got to serve together. Pretty incredible.
She is delightful. Mom you will love her.
So soeur linton is headed to Lille to finish off her 4
weeks and I will miss her terribly. But I'm so excited because in a
matter of months we'll all be back together again. She is a dream and
you will all love her too. You'll be seeing a lot of her and Soeur
Henson. They are true, and sacred friends.
Well I'm so excited for this new transfer! I am so
happy and feel so much LOVE. Thanks mom. I love you guys and am just so
happy to be a part of our family. I found this quote that pretty much
describes life: " Go forward in life with a twinkle in your eye and a
smile on your face, but with a great and strong purpose in your heart.
Love life and look for its opportunities, and forever and always be
loyal to the church." Gordon B. Hinckley my man.
Love you all
Soeur Nat Cameron
100% No regrets I've promised to give more!
