Logan September 9, 2013

hey there y'all.
emily are hope you are feeling better. i am sorry you have a cold. best medicine is chocolate. mommy good luck being alone at barratt. but just remember the famous words of michael jackson "you are not alone, i am here with you, though you're far away, i am here to stay..." now imagine me singing that with one white glittery glove while moonwalking. dad i am pleased that you got to be the royal reader. that is a great honor, i am proud of you.

How was AMY GRANT?????? ok mom i will admit it she is great. we have a little bit of her here and since i can't listen to anything i used to i listen to amy grant. reminds me of you mommers. i am super jealous you got to see her live. man. you guys have all the luck.

emily question for you. have you seen the district. the missionary show. if not watch the district 2 and compare elder moreno with AC slater. they are the same person.... well almost. they look and act the same.. look it up and prepare to laugh.

thank you for the pictures too. they were great. i laughed real hard.

so my family how are all of you. how is school going em? teachers hard, easy? i already know the answer to french, that class is flippin hard. well good luck. dad how is work? the crops for this year? mom how is barratt? how is the ward doing?

i love our ward. i have noticed how amazing our ward is. when you go other places and see other wards and how they work it is funny. its the same gospel of Jesus Christ everywhere but the mentality of the wards are certainly different. but we have a great one. i was so blessed with amazing leaders, teachers, and friends in our ward that i could turn to for counsel and guidance.

we did a lot of service this week. we lifted a ton of stuff. this family in our ward just moved back from their mission and we helped them move stuff from their basement to the mainfloor. and it was all huge.

we met a man named Dennis this week also. he is a former investigator and he lives pretty close to us so we went over there to see if we could get a lesson with him. he is a talker. my teachers thought i was bad. wow i am like beth in little women compared to this guy. that is her name right? beth? well you know who i mean. i think i said one phrase the whole night: est-ce que je peux utiliser la toilette? he said yes.

i also got my first bisous (kisses) this last week. we went in this neighborhood to knock, and the spirit told me that we should visit a lady that we met while knocking 6 weeks ago. her name is louise. i may have mentioned her. but she has bone cancer. and will most likely die from it. the last time we  went she lost her job and had just barely got home and was sad. this time we went we found out that the next day she would be starting chemotherapy again. and she was very nervous. so she said that she has taken it as a sign from God that we are her angels. haha so then at the end of the conversation she did what all french women do, kiss us on the cheeks, 2 of them. as missionaries we are supposed to refrain from that but you cant really stop them when they come. haha she is nice though, i feel super bad for her. but she is very positive and loves life. an inspiration to us all.

i went to a zone study this last week. got some good pictures of me and the temple. hope you all enjoy. love you. keep up the good work. find those lost sheep and bring them back to the fold!

je vous aime.
