Logan March 17, 2014

hello my family and dear friends,
how are all of you on this fine spring day, too bad it is not really spring up here. it is freezing cold. i went running this morning and lets just say that elder cameron isn't as fast as he once was. unfortunate. i am kind of getting heavy. so i have the goal to slim down and look slender again. wish me luck.

i am so sorry to hear about brother jones. he is a great guy, always willing to help out. count my prayers in.

mommy i hope you get to keep your job. how would barratt run without you?? i did get a camera too. and i think that was the only question i had to respond too
so this week wasn't too bad. we had a lot of cancellations and that was kind of lame. usually we get like 10 less active lessons a week and this week we only got 5. so it was a bummer, but we are working hard to reschedule and such.

we saw kelly this last week and he said something super profound. i wish to share it with you. procrastination is the bane of mankind. how true that is. i remember back in high school, many moons ago, i would usually wait until the last minute to do things. and it killed me. the same is true here, when we wait until the last minute it never works, i have a firm testimony of planning, and planning well. you can really see the blessings from it. that is probably why i love planning well. it is easy to see success. now sometimes it doesn't workout  but 9 times out of 10 it does. it is helping me prepare for my life after the mission.

we had a great lesson with our brazilians friends. they are so sososososo close to baptism. i can feel it. we talked about the end of the plan of salvation. it was awesome.  I love when we talk about the celestial kingdom. I want to go there so bad. it sounds nice.

we had a lesson with pauline our jamaican friend, and right after our branch pres called us and asked us if we wanted to go to our favorite restaurant ever marathon souvlaki. so we got to go and who should be playing but the seatle sounders and toronto. so i got to watch a little bit of soccer haha. what a tender mercy.

our branch president is such a great guy. he truly cares for every member of the branch. we have been working closely with him to find all of those lost sheep and to bring them back to the fold. i am so grateful for our ward at home. it is crazy to see how many people are less active here. that is our main focus right now. it is working well too.

so my friends. another week has come and gone, and my faith is still strong. and i want a ding dong.

love you all and God Bless

elder cameron
