hey y'all how are you doing?? man this
week has been great. much has happened much indeed. where to begin is a
good question, first i shall say, how many years parents? you guys are
old. haha i love you very much, thank you for all you do for me. it is
great to have support from you.
so to please mother i will give you a descriptive
look on my week, i shall write details of the past week in an organized
manner and i hope that it will be received with much pleasure.
monday:
after i finished emails with you i went to visit kelly. kelly is one of
my favorite people. He is hilarious. He told me to be safe and careful
and to come back to visit when i am not a missionary so that he can take
me to the casino, not to wager, but to relax and enjoy myself and watch
the master work. haha what a punk. in french we say sale gosse. haha
yeah so i told him i would. so maybe next year i will come back to visit
kelly
later that night we went to the forbes family. they are great. i
am going to miss little immanuel. he is that crazy little boy who most
likely is adhd. he came and gave me a hug right when i left. cute little
guy
tuesday:
man this day was action packed, it was the last time visiting donna. i
will miss her a lot. She has become a great friend to me. we call her
Nani because she is our canadian grandmother. before leaving she gave me
a small glass elephant. the story behind this elephant is this: every time before we leave her house i put 2 elephants together like they
are kissing haha. i dont really know how it started but i did every ttime.
then my final time there she gave me one of the elephants.
so i put him under my bonsai tree. it is a fine place where he shall rest
then
we visited the David, and then we went to the valesquez family. all of
kids made me a farewell card. it was so nice. i will miss chomedey for
sure
wednesday
i left laval from montreal, met up with all my favorite missionaries
who are going home. then elder fontaine and i took a bus for 3 hours to
quebec! it is so great here. i am having such a great time with elder
fontaine. he is hilarious. he is helping me a lot with my french. he
tells me all of the cool phrases kids say these days. immediately after
we got here we went straight to work. we went to a PEC and talked about
the needs of the branch. i love it here.
thursday-saturday:
we called infinity people and visited a lot of former investigators. we
met a guy named clarence marshal. he was originally found by ELDER
CAMERON. but i am not sure it is justin because it was 2006. so
probably not.
sunday
was great. we went to church and i had to give a talk and say the
opening prayer. man it has been a while since i have spoke french at
church so i was a little rusty but slowly it came back. we then went to
the truminio family for lunch. they used to live right by the valesquez
family from the chomedey branch. so that was great too. connections all
over the place.
well that is all to report. i love the area i am
having fun and i love my companion and the branch. thank you for your
prayers. i hope everything is going well for you at home! a bientot mes
amis
elder cameron
Godspeed
